WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

​

Working, years ago I heard from a writer from my country who said that the inspiration is in the “ass”, that is, you have to sit down and work. Beyond recognizing myself as a creative person, I feel that only by sitting down to work I can achieve my ideas. But when I'm not working I'm feeding of ideas, I go to the theater, I go to museums, I watch movies, series, I research and study with the work of great photographers and newer ones who perhaps haven't achieved fame yet but who are wonderful and I learn a lot from them. I also try to take care of what I see, visual information must also be taken care of, sometimes there are visual excesses that can do us a lot of harm.

 

WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR MODELS?

At first through Instagram, but now I don't just stay on that social network, I've found a lot of people on the street, I've stopped guys and I talk to them and got to work with them, but most of them are already sent to me by their agencies. But yes, Instagram is always a way to reach talent.

 

YOUR PHOTOS ARE STUNNING, WHAT ARTIST INSPIRES YOUR WORK?

Thank you for that compliment, I don't think I have a particular artist that inspires me, but I admit that I have been linked to the world of art for years and I love plastic arts, so I think that all that is there in my head that I have seen throughout my life comes out when I compose a photo and at the moment that I give it its final touch with the edition.

 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MEMORY FROM ONE OF YOUR SESSIONS?

Wow, I don't know if I have a specific memory, but the satisfaction of making the other person happy and that the other person appreciates my work and feels happy with it, that’s wonderful feeling. 

The work of a photographer is something wonderful, imagine that we capture a unique moment that will never happen again, people not only get naked in front of the camera, They expose their souls also, then is when the magic happens.

I remember a moment now, towards a boy who lost his leg in an accident where he almost lost his life, one day he texted me and he tells me that he is in New York that if we could do a session that afternoon, the truth was that he had nothing prepared , and I told him yes, let's do some nudes, he told me that he didn't feel very sure about showing himself naked, despite the fact that he has accepted his condition, but I think that making him feel good and sure of himself led him to undress, take off his prosthesis and hug her, that moment gave me incredible happiness.

 

DO YOU HAVE ANY CURRENT PROJECT?

​

I have many projects and this year I have set a goal to achieve them. I would love to publish a book with my photos of the bathtubs, it is something that I must work on to make it look incredible. Besides, it is time for people to start seeing my work in print, we are getting very used to only consuming digital and a cell phone screens will never equal a printed photo.
